Our 100% virgin Italian wool is nothing short of a dream—part of its production involves being boiled, giving it a noticeably felted appearance. Our Merino wool, both the French Merino wool mix (20% Merino wool, 80% acrylic) and the 100% Italian extra fine Merino wool, are of fine fibers resulting in soft, lighter, and more flexible garments.

I have a somewhat narrow foot and was a bit concerned that these would be too wide but they are actually a good fit. I wear an 8.5 and bought the 8 - and there is still room in the length. The leather is luxurious, buttery and soft and the sunken footbed cradles the foot nicely (but does not provide arch support or cushy padding). The elastic strap is very comfortable and holds my foot snugly. If I shake my foot, the shoe does not wiggle around at all. There is room for a wider foot for sure, but if your feet are thicker or you have a high instep, the top may feel too snug. I felt a little chafing against the joint at the base of my right big toe, and also where the straps cross, but it was my first long wear and a very hot day. Overall I am thrilled with the quality, fit and look. Wish they came in brown!
Beautiful leather, high quality
Even though I love these, I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to keep them as they were pretty snug. But after walking around my house the leather loosened so I kept them. The leather is beautiful, the shoe is high quality and comfy. The footbed is great for my wide foot, but because the upper is snug I’d say they run a little small.

Runs very small. I wear size 9-9. 5, ordered a 10, received a European 40, so can’t say if it’s the correct correspondence. It barely fits, but I kept it. I love the look of these sandals, but they are a little too tight across the front and are extremely painful. I guess my feet are wider at the front than the back. I think if the back strap was adjustable, I could adjust them to be more comfortable. As it is, I am wearing them for short periods when I don't have to do a lot of walking so I can hopefully get the front stretched out. I hope that one day they will be comfortable!

These sandals are so comfortable. They do run a bit narrow. The footbed is very cushioned, and feel great. Very cute! I bought them in an9, which I wore a few times, and felt like a size larger would be more comfortable, so I kept the 9 (since I had worn them) and I bought a 10. Much more comfortable.
