For every year that Marcella grows, so does our sense of purpose. Some chapters affirm why we started. Others flip the script, challenging us to adapt, evolve and think bigger. Regardless, every single chapter keeps us energized and committed to making better fashion for you.

So, as we look back on 2025, here are the characters, plot twists and climactic moments that made the year such a page-turner for us.

Our Cast Of Marcella Muses Grew And Thrived

Since launching our “Marcella Muses” ambassador program in 2024, our community has blossomed into a truly inspiring cast of over 500 women. In 2025, we got to gather many of them in one room for the first time. Experiencing a room full of that much creativity and personality was proof that when women come together, it’s pure magic.

200,000 IG Followers And Counting

As our social following grew this year, it reminded us that Design that Matters™ resonates more than ever. With over 200,000 of you now helping move this mission forward on Instagram, our community feels stronger, more expressive and more purposeful than ever. You, of course, are our main characters, and we’re so glad to be writing this story together.

We Began Traveling Farther And Wider

In late 2025, Marcella officially joined the digital lineups at Bloomingdale's and Farfetch! This is in addition to our already partnering online with Nordstrom and Macy's. Thanks to Farfetch, we’re now also available in 130 new countries, and we can’t wait to see how our pieces become part of your lives in different settings across the world. To think all of this started in a small Manhattan apartment…

Social Impact In Action

Like every year, our commitment to social impact stayed front and center. Through our School Days Program, we continued our partnership with CAMFED, supporting girls’ education across sub-Saharan Africa. After surpassing one million school days supported early in the year and now approaching 1.1 million school days supported, we're more inspired than ever. 

We’ve always believed that education can change everything. Thanks to your partnership, ever more girls are stepping into their futures every day, filled with powerful new possibilities.

We Got A Refresh

You might notice things look and feel a little different around here. This past summer, we refreshed our website with clarity and ease of usage in mind. It was a subtle refresh, but one designed to make finding what you love a little easier. Have you had a look around?

Women Who Inspired Us

Our Marcella Capsule Series is a monthly celebration of women whom we admire. Healers, writers, designers, musicians, artists, comics, educators and more. Women who shift our perspective and move the world through their work and their personal style. 2025 brought with it nine Marcella capsule features where our respective invitees curated and styled some of their favorite Marcella looks. Included during 2025 was one of our very favorite all-time Capsules with musicians from NYC's Metropolitan Opera. Overall, through this Capsule series – through meeting and interacting with such fascinating women – we found endless inspiration for our wardrobes and beyond.

A Shift In Tone

This year, we wanted to bring a little more vibrancy to your world, so we explored some of your favorite designs in new hues for new moods and moments. Check out our color refresh edit. 


And The Plot Thickened…

Every year brings its fair share of curveballs but never before had we experienced a year like 2025! Centrally, ever-changing global tariffs and customs rules challenged the fashion industry at large and we were no exception. Undeterred, we approached the chaos with a spirit of exploration – as an opportunity to ask if we couldn't do things better? New technologies, new production partners, new fabrics and trims - suddenly, everything was on the table for consideration. More news to come here as we continue to innovate in the months ahead based on what we've learned so far, but please know that we're determined to maintain the quality and craftsmanship you expect from Marcella while adapting responsibly. 

Across every Marcella 2025 chapter, we chose our own pace over fast fashion, people over trends, and purpose over shortcuts. This intentionality kept us grounded in who we are, fueling our creativity and passion.

Like during every year, it's this approach that keeps the work meaningful for our team and, hopefully (!), for you.

And, now, on to 2026. The story continues…

Your Monroe dress saved me this past summer. The dress I’d ordered for my granddaughter’s wedding was altered poorly & I had to replace it quickly. Not only did you come through on time with shipping, but the size & fit were perfect. Thank you for making me feel wonderful!
