Our 100% virgin Italian wool is nothing short of a dream—part of its production involves being boiled, giving it a noticeably felted appearance. Our Merino wool, both the French Merino wool mix (20% Merino wool, 80% acrylic) and the 100% Italian extra fine Merino wool, are of fine fibers resulting in soft, lighter, and more flexible garments.

A more feminine take on essential outerwear, our best-selling Elizabeth is oversized and relaxed with a boxy silhouette, roomy sleeves and longer length. Her silky-soft lining is made in Germany, helping you that much more to survive the wintry elements while staying warm and dry. Elizabeth is generously cut for layering to extend wear through the coldest weather.
This design has an intentionally oversized fit. For a less oversized look, or if in-between sizes, we recommend sizing down.
Designed with strong magnetic clasps for a secure closure. For best wear, open them gently to avoid tension on the stitching.

I really love this coat! The materials are simply lovely! It's difficult for me to wear long coats as I'm a very pronounced pear shape and what fits on hips is generally too big in the bust (I alter all the dresses) so for me the oversized look is a great choice in coat. I am usually a Large in coats but tried both and ended up keeping the X-Large - the sleeves were just slightly longer and the oversized look more pronounced this way. I'm 5'7" +/-180lbs, 34C-31waist-42hips and an apple bottom

I've been looking for a mostly wool camel colored coat for about 10 years, and I'm so happy I found this one! This coat is absolutely luxurious. The wool is thinner and more flexible compared to similar coats, so it hangs well, moves easily, and is doesn't feel bulky. I'd expect a thinner material to be less effective, but I wore it in below freezing weather and I was perfectly warm. The deep red lining is gorgeous and very soft. It really brings this piece to another level. As for sizing, believe the reviews and size down on this one. I'm 5'6, 32 bust, 29 waist, 39 hip with most of my weight in my bottom. I wear a med/4 in pants, and a small up top. Based on reviews I was worried that if I sized down it wouldn't fit my hips, so I tried a small first. Well, let me tell you, I was swimming. It looked like a bath robe, and the pockets stuck out in a weird way. I exchanged for an xs, and it completely transformed the way the coat looked on me. It's perfect! Fits exactly like it does on the models. Despite the straight cut, closing it around my hips hasn't been as issue at all. I have plenty of room. The length falls just above mid-calf. Other reviews say the pockets are in an awkward place, and the snaps don't work, but I haven't had a problem with either. I can use the pockets easily without having to keep my arms bent, and my hands are cozy. My only complaint is I wish they were a little deeper - my phone fits, but just barely. While I do think the coat would look better with buttons, for me the snaps are strong and have stayed put. TLDR this coat is versatile, gorgeous, and warm. If you're on the fence, just buy it! But definitely size down.

This coat is elegant and stunning. I will say that the closure is just above the waist - so it won't keep your chest area warm. The coat is beautiful, with a very luxurious lining. I love it, but I’m sorry I didn’t size up. Since it was described as oversized, I assumed it would be oversized in my usual size, medium, but in fact it just fits and a bit snugly at that. Really warm but the snaps are magnetic and do not hold shut well. They snaps are also very low and therefore the coat closes at your stomach and not at your chest, which is unusual for a winter coat.
