Eli Pants

These pants look super cool, but I have worn them about 5 or 6 times and they are already breaking - my hem came undone, similar to another poster, and one of the trouser clasps popped off entirely. At $150, I would expect much, much better quality, and I'm super disappointed in these pants. I want to add that I previously left a 1 star review with photos, verified it with Marcella, and they never posted it, so I'm upping to 2 here to get visibility in case they are auto filtering out 1 star reviews.

Perfect color black. IYKYK. The material drapes perfectly, not stiff but structured. The order arrived quickly. I love the tailoring and the length. A timeless cargo pant I can’t wait to wear.

Love the fabric and the color. I wish the pleats lid more flat. If I’d gotten the next size up, the waist would have been too big. Let’s see how they fit 5-10 pounds from now….

I love the fabric and the olive color. My complaint is that the facing of the pocket pulls and makes the pants look cheap. I love the styles of Marcella but the attention to fit details seems to be lacking. This is the second it I purchased with a fit flaw.

These are so cute. I did have to get them hemmed bc they were long, but it did not affect the look.

I love the look of these pants but I'm very disappointed in the quality. I've worn these pants approx. 10 times and have handwashed them once, so they're fairly new to me still, but I have already had multiple issues (pics below). I had the same issue as someone else in this comment section about the hem coming undone, and today one of the silver trouser fasteners (the hook) came off entirely. I'll attempt to repair them, but cmon, I should not have to repair pants of this price point after 10 or so wears. A big thing that drew me to Marcella is their emphasis on ethics and sustainability, but as someone who values sustainability not just in manufacturing processes but also in longevity of clothing I buy, I'm disappointed. Bottom line: the pants are very pretty, but for the price point ($150!) I really feel like the quality should be better.

Really like the way the fabric in these slacks hang's & feels. I also like that while the fabric look a little dressier, the cargo pocket makes them easy to dress down as well. I have found for me, the clothes I have ordered tend to run small even when referring to size guide. I have exchanged anything I have purchased to size up. But have enjoyed all my purchases.

I’m a huge Marcella fan and was excited about these pants. Finally had an excuse to wear them on a work trip and they were awesome. Great fabric, looked amazing - a guy stopped me as I was getting my morning coffee and complimented me. The issue came halfway through the day when the hem on one of the legs completely unraveled making one leg much longer than the other. I was now walking all over it. It was very poorly sewn. Since I had a super packed day there was nothing I could do so I went from looking stylish to disheveled. It’s not my normal experience from this brand, everything is usually great quality. I hope it was a one off experience.

The fabric is fantastic, the pattern is amazing, the outfit opportunities are endless. They're fantastic. Unfortunately for me, I was well between sizes, so the XL was huge and the L was far too small in the hips. I obsessed about them enough I reordered the XL and had them tailored to fit because I couldn't stop thinking about them. The olive color is such a perfect neutral, not wholly black, not bright green, but interesting enough to add interest to every outfit. I cannot recommend them enough, just pay close attention to the size chart and be willing to alter if you feel this same obsession with not black, not green, perfect neutral with an edge. I can't say enough.
