October, 11th, the International Day of the Girl, is a rallying cry to fight for those girls—to spotlight the inequalities that hinder their potential while celebrating their joy, talent and resilience in spite of them. It’s a call to action we’ve vowed to answer since day one at Marcella.

Since 2021, Marcella has partnered with CAMFED to help girls realize their dreams through one of the most transformative tools available: education.
Investing in girls’ education means investing in a better world. Girls facing the greatest disadvantages have the voices we most urgently need to hear. It's been proven time and again that educated girls drive progress that ripples across borders, advancing gender equality, social justice, climate action, economic growth and public health for society at large.
This year, the International Day of the Girl theme is “Girls’ Vision for the Future.” And, as we support every day, Marcella's Design that Matters™ movement puts that theme into action through many pillars, but centrally the School Days Project, our social impact initiative directly supporting CAMFED’s mission. Specifically, every Marcella order funds an underprivileged girl's education for three days via CAMFED.
Even better, on every October 11th, every International Day of the Girl, it's a Marcella "DOUBLE School Days" Day, meaning 6 (not 3) days of school fees, books, uniforms, menstrual pads and more supported with every Marcella order. Or, put another way, for every 33 orders placed today at Marcella, another girl will continue her education for an entire school year.
Since the launch of the School Days Project in 2021, Marcella has now supported 912,678 school days in partnership with CAMFED, which is enough to have funded full educations for 380 girls from primary through secondary school. And, every day at Marcella, we're celebrating the power of Christina and all her fellow girls globally. The fight for equality continues on stronger than ever...
