Wonderful for both fitted and loose garments, Ponte offers a flattering fit so you can focus on more important things than constantly tugging and readjusting. Less stretchy than jersey, it gives a more structured look that’s perfect for formal pieces like our signature Manhattan One Shoulder designs. It’s also wrinkle resistant and perfect for traveling.

Our 100% virgin Italian wool is nothing short of a dream—part of its production involves being boiled, giving it a noticeably felted appearance. Our Merino wool, both the French Merino wool mix (20% Merino wool, 80% acrylic) and the 100% Italian extra fine Merino wool, are of fine fibers resulting in soft, lighter, and more flexible garments.
Care: Gentle care required—dry clean only. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat when needed. Iron on low heat.

Our European wool blend is the thickest selection of our yarns. This yarn is a balance of 30% wool and 70% acrylic fibers - making it soft to the touch and more comfortable on the skin than traditional wool yarns.

"I like that this is a lighter knit. It is very stretchy though. I feel like a little less stretch and a little more weight to the fabric would’ve been nice. However, I do like this dress a lot. I also wish it came in petite. It is incredibly long!! I am 4’11” and I will probably have to get about 8 inches taken off of it to even be able to wear it with a two or 3 inch heel."

"This was my first purchase from Marcella and I'm absolutely in love with this dress! The cute is absolutely stunning and so flattering. The materal is a nice weight, but I do still wear a full slip with it to keep everything smooth. 5'7" 145-150 lb hourglass 32-34DD. Med fit beautifully with a bit of wiggle room to go smaller if i had to or you wanted a more body-con look, but I wouldn't trade my M. Perfect classic look and fit. SO COMFORTABLE I don't ever feel the need to change as soon as I get home (like most work outfits). Can wear with flats and it just barely skims the top of my shoes. Also perfect with 2-3" heels. I've worn it belted and slightly bloused, also worn it backwards with the V in the front and it's gorgeous like that as well. . . wouldn't know it was backwards, haha, just a little more drama for an "after work" look."

"This is a beautiful dress and very comfortable, the material is very forgiving with flattering ruching. I'm 5'5 / 5'6-ish and the medium was a good length and I didn't need to hem it (usually do). True to size, very comfortable fit. I'm 36-30-41 and around 150 lbs / U. S. size 10-12 ish so occasionally have to buy a size L but this was a beautiful, comfortable fit in a M. I bought it as a concert dress and it looks great."
