Our 100% virgin Italian wool is nothing short of a dream—part of its production involves being boiled, giving it a noticeably felted appearance. Our Merino wool, both the French Merino wool mix (20% Merino wool, 80% acrylic) and the 100% Italian extra fine Merino wool, are of fine fibers resulting in soft, lighter, and more flexible garments.

Automatic purchase. This dress is so perfect. The collar is admittedly tiny and can be a struggle to fit over my big head but that might be a me problem. The dress is gorgeous on, from the bodycon fit to the ruching on the sides to the long sleeves. Chef’s kiss. The free tote was a major plus as well! Love love love. For reference, my measurements are: Bust: 37” Waist: 30” Hips: 40”, 147 lbs; 5’4.5” and purchased in a size medium (black). Currently a size 8 in jeans, and can take anywhere from a medium to large in tops depending on the cut.

This dress will be one of those items that will be in constant rotation, for its sheer versatility. I recently paired it with an orange leather jacket and moto boots, It is very fitted but not uncomfortably so. I am 5’7” and 140 pounds (age 52) and ordered the small. Very happy.
Great dress for work and after!
I ordered this dress in an XXL per my measurements- Bust: 43" Waist: 37" Hips: 50" Height 5'6". It's actually a little roomier and longer than I expected based on the online model pictures. I probably could have gone down a size. It isn't as tight around my bust, has got plenty of room around the waist without being baggy and the length hits below my knees covering the top of my knee high boots. This actually makes this dress work appropriate as well as being an easy transition to after work by pulling it up above my knees and allowing more ruching around my waist. I really like the extra length in the sleeves that are still slim because I have long arms and sleeves are often shorter than I like. It's very nice to have extra to come down as far as I like yet not flop down over my hands. I am very curvy and yet this dress is very flattering and I feel classy and sassy wearing it without feeling inappropriate. So far I love everything I have purchased from Marcella! Thank you!

I absolutely love this dress! Whenever I don't know what to wear, I wear this. It's very flattering and nice quality. I own both colors already for a few years and keep hoping for more colors! I would love a navy blue for example or a cool purple. A beautiful red would be lovely too.
