Our jersey is made with TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers, good for the Earth and your busy life. Its soft touch, high-stretch and wrinkle resistant qualities make it a staple fabric in our collections.

Care: Machine wash on delicate cycle, or hand wash in cold water. Tumble dry on low heat, or for best results, lay flat to dry.

Stretch: Very high.

Our sheer viscose jersey is our signature fabric with just the right amount of sheerness and stretch, which allows us to create unique ephemeral silhouettes that you wouldn’t find elsewhere.

Care: Machine wash on delicate cycle, or hand wash in cold water.Lay flat to dry. We would discourage the use of a dryer to avoid pilling.

Stretch: Very high.

Sheer European Jersey
 European Ponte

Wonderful for both fitted and loose garments, Ponte offers a flattering fit so you can focus on more important things than constantly tugging and readjusting. Less stretchy than jersey, it gives a more structured look that’s perfect for formal pieces like our signature Manhattan One Shoulder designs. It’s also wrinkle resistant and perfect for traveling.

Care: Machine wash on delicate cycle, or hand wash in cold water. Tumble dry on low heat, or for best results, lay flat to dry.

Stretch: Mid-to-high.

 Midweight European French Terry

Our Midweight french terry sweatshirt fabric has so much to offer, including sustainable construction and lasting quality wash after wash. Complete with a brushed french terry inner layer, it’ll keep you warm and cozy through any chilly day.

Care: Machine wash on delicate cycle, or hand wash in cold water. Tumble dry on low heat, or for best results, lay flat to dry.

Stretch: Mid-to-low.

Our cotton-based lightweight french terry is the thinner of the two kinds of sweatshirt fabrics we offer. Constructed with a fine, french terry inner layer, it mimics the feeling of silk on the skin. Complete with a high-stretch content, it's perfect for keeping you comfortable on your busiest days.

Care: Machine wash on delicate cycle, or hand wash in cold water. Tumble dry low on heat, or for best results, lay flat to dry.

 European Poplin Cotton

OEKO-TEX® certified, our 100% European poplin cotton fabric has become a core material in our collection with its elevated look and its comfy, crisp feel. It’s used for our looser, structured silhouettes.

Care: Machine wash. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Dry cleaning is recommended. Iron on low

Our 100% virgin Italian wool is nothing short of a dream—part of its production involves being boiled, giving it a noticeably felted appearance. Our Merino wool, both the French Merino wool mix (20% Merino wool, 80% acrylic) and the 100% Italian extra fine Merino wool, are of fine fibers resulting in soft, lighter, and more flexible garments.

Care: Gentle care required—dry clean only. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat when needed. Iron on low heat.

"I’m 47 yo, 5’4, 114-118 pounds. These pants fit Perfectly. The trousers have a little bit of sheen/shine to them, the pleating falls perfectly. Easily dress up or down. The material is super soft and these wear very comfortably on. I recommend these. My only concern is that they need to be hung dried, and they cannot be ironed. The instructions also do not include whether or not I can have them dry cleaned. They have wrinkles in them and I’m not sure how to address that without being able to iron them."

"I am 5’4’’ and 110 lbs, not much hip, ordered petite XS and the fit is exactly what I was looking for, a bit relaxed but polished. The fabric has the slightest sheen, smooth feel and is a nice medium weight. They wash well. I wore them on a 3.5 hr flight, a 2 hr car ride and they did not wrinkle. Looked great for the rest of the evening."

Ok, I give up on pleated pants!

"The Marcella NYC Archie Pants, although promising, didn't quite work out for me, and I'd rate them a 4 out of 5 stars. I had high hopes for these pants, but they turned out to be a bit too small for my liking. I typically wear a size 10 or 12 in pants, and I opted for the Petite Large size in these pants. Unfortunately, they were too tight in the waist and bum, which made them uncomfortable to wear for extended periods. This sizing issue was a disappointment, especially given my previous positive experiences with Marcella NYC's sizing. Additionally, just like another reviewer, I found that pleated pants, including the Archie Pants, don't work well for my body type. The vertical pleat detailing and crease didn't flatter my figure as I had hoped, which was a letdown. Surprisingly, I also wasn't too crazy about the fabric of these pants. Marcella NYC typically excels in fabric choices, but this time, it didn't quite meet my expectations. It didn't feel as high-quality as I had anticipated, which was a bit of a surprise."
