Our 100% virgin Italian wool is nothing short of a dream—part of its production involves being boiled, giving it a noticeably felted appearance. Our Merino wool, both the French Merino wool mix (20% Merino wool, 80% acrylic) and the 100% Italian extra fine Merino wool, are of fine fibers resulting in soft, lighter, and more flexible garments.

I love the material, style and color, but I also purchased the Hamptons dress and I think I prefer the neckline of that one (a scoop neck) over the square neck of this one. But that's just personal preference. Otherwise they appear the same (though I purchased different colors). The material is on the thinner side though, which makes it more of a summer weight, but also shows more in terms of a belly and undergarments. I would wear a bodysuit under this to keep things smooth. I'm 5'9", 42DDD bust with broad shoulders and typically wear a size 18. I purchased the XXL and think sizing up would have been too large. The length of both the sleeves and the dress were great for me. I love that this will never "go out of style".
