Our 100% virgin Italian wool is nothing short of a dream—part of its production involves being boiled, giving it a noticeably felted appearance. Our Merino wool, both the French Merino wool mix (20% Merino wool, 80% acrylic) and the 100% Italian extra fine Merino wool, are of fine fibers resulting in soft, lighter, and more flexible garments.

The Finch top is great. The fabric and detailing are very high quality. It is a very stylish and flattering take on the everyday sleeveless top, especially for someone my age. It covers the neck but is still cool and comfortable. Can be dressed up or down. I originally ordered M according the to the size guide and it was too big. Exchanged for a S which I more typically wear. I wish it came in more colors.

I have the Finch top in both olive and chestnut - both excellent neutrals, especially for transitioning into fall. The top boasts Marcella’s usual unique design, excellent construction, and top-notch fabric, as well as upscale style with a fit that enhances a woman’s form. The fabric is a medium weight, leaning towards more substantial. It’s heavier than T-shirt material but not too heavy. The fit is slightly boxy, but very flattering, looking very much as it does on the model. Marcella is an admirable company for the excellence of their product, their warm and responsive customer service, transparency, ecological practices, and environmental and social consciousness.

Another lovely garment by Marcella. The fabric is medium weight, leaning more into substantial but not too heavy. A bit thicker than t-shirt material. A great transitional piece to wear on its own on warm fall days and under a jacket as the day turns into a cool evening. Fits exactly as shown on the model - a tad boxy but still very flattering. The sage color is a terrific neutral for fall - it goes with everything. It feels good to buy from Marcella. Their style is unique, flattering to the female form, well-constructed, and beautifully designed. Their customer service is helpful, responsive, warm, and friendly. They are socially and environmentally conscious and transparent about their practices. They recycle, and donate to important causes. So much to admire!
