Our 100% virgin Italian wool is nothing short of a dream—part of its production involves being boiled, giving it a noticeably felted appearance. Our Merino wool, both the French Merino wool mix (20% Merino wool, 80% acrylic) and the 100% Italian extra fine Merino wool, are of fine fibers resulting in soft, lighter, and more flexible garments.
Care: Gentle care required—dry clean only. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat when needed. Iron on low heat.

Our European wool blend is the thickest selection of our yarns. This yarn is a balance of 30% wool and 70% acrylic fibers - making it soft to the touch and more comfortable on the skin than traditional wool yarns.

"As I have found with all of the pieces I have purchased from Marcella, the quality of the sweater was great and warm with thick knit. It did not look right on me. It was too boxy, which I did not see online. I purchased a medium but perhaps should have tried a small. It was a final sale item so I could not exchange. All was not lost though. My daughter is smaller than I am and loves an oversized sweater!"
