Our 100% virgin Italian wool is nothing short of a dream—part of its production involves being boiled, giving it a noticeably felted appearance. Where has this sartorial dream dress been all my life? When I wear it with a fedora, I feel dressed up and with a baseball cap, dressed down, simultaneously! What elevates this is the same colored “turtleneck” made of a lighter stretchy fabric which warms and also hides my neck wrinkles. The black zippers are also a cool look, while keeping the contents of the pouch safe fe falling out. The side slit shows enough leg to show off my fav sneakers as well. AND it’s not too long, so no tailor needed. I’m 5’5, the length is perfect. So much to love about this amazing hoodie dress! Imma fan.
Generous Sizing
I should be a L to XL in most things, 5'7, 180 lbs. The medium fit me well though. My weight is evenly distributed other than having a big booty. It was comfortable and flattering. I prefer form fitting clothes with flattering cuts and this dress does it for me. It seems like it will still fit on my way back down to 160, just be more drapey. The built in ninja mask and hood make me feel extra warm and cozy.

in this wasteland of synthetic fibers and shoddy construction, MarcellaNYC is a breath of fresh air! The Elba dress is a substantial garment. It's lined, has considered details, a forgiving but intentional silhouette and just looks bomb on. It achieves that effortless, cool, sporty aesthetic that so many of us want especially in during the colder months when , if I'm keeping it 100, most of my energy is expended just getting out of bed . I'm tall (5'11) with most of my weight in my hips ( 51") and an XXL allowed me to achieve as close to a column silhouette as possible without getting caught on my hips. In fact, in black, it's even slimming. I'm honestly considering buying 1 or 2 more to establish a rotation- it's that good.

My purchase arrived securely packaged and arrived in a timely fashion. This fall/ winter dress is beautiful, I am 5 ft 6 in height and weight is 160. I ordered a large and the fit is perfect for me at first In ordering I thought I might need the XL but the large fits fine I swim 2hr 4 days out of the week so I’m thinking this gives me the option in the large size as it tapers down smoothly and it’s still loose in the waist area where the zippers are for the pouch pockets, just perfect so hopefully it doesn’t shrink when I wash it. I’m very happy with my purchase and excited to travel with it in November 🙏🏽

Warm, Cute, Secure.
This dress feels SECURE to me. I wore it when I had to be outside, on a cold winter evening, for hours. I had layers under it, but it was amazing. The built-in gator is amazing. Even when it's not pulled over my face, it adds so much warmth, just by sealing the neck. I love that the pockets zip. It looks great, it's super comfortable, and somehow it feels like gear, not just clothing.
