Behind the Collection

February 1965: the MoMa debuts “The Responsive Eye” optical art exhibition. Through abstract geometry and contrast, the op-art movement created illusions of stillness in motion, depth on a flat surface—visuals that seem to pulse under your gaze. It took the gallery by storm.

Our FW24 Gallery draws from the mind-bending work of op-art to find a new perspective on our signature minimalism with an edge aesthetic. By translating artistic fundamentals like line, curvature, and primary shapes into seamlines, cuts, and fabric manipulations, FW24 became a collection of effortless designs that live and breathe when worn.

Colors

In a gallery, wall colors are typically subtle to unify the art. In op-art, highly saturated hues are tools to create dazzling visual effects. Our FW24 color story marries both ends of the spectrum, balancing bold new shades of vibrant hot pink and strong violet with mist—a calm, cool grey—and metals, such as silver, pared back into non-shiny neutrals.

FW24 is rich with contrast. Clean-tailored cuts are draped with modern ease. Some designs are sharpened by stark angles and diagonal lines, while others are softened by ruffled purl-stitching and curved seams. Opaque and sheer fabrics strategically blend, playing with negative space or tricking the eye into seeing high necklines as off-shoulder silhouettes. Each design stays true to our core collection of sustainable European fabrics, offering endless wearability alongside striking originality.

We’ve brought Italian crinkled leather into the mix, giving ankle boots, sculptural heels, and classic Mary Janes a modern touch of texture. Throughout our bags, this elegantly distressed material pairs with geometric clutches, slouchy totes, and petite purses, offering an array of choices for every mood and occasion.
