I’m so excited to be wearing your beautifully designed clothing. My daughter ordered the sweatshirt dress in a small and it looked amazing on her with a burgundy coat and matching boots. I ordered the same in an XL and taking a cowgirl twist with a pair of beautiful blue Corral boots and turquoise earrings.

Monday is my favorite day of the week. Monday is the start of a new week where I can create success, satisfaction, and make a difference in my world. Also, Mondays are more relaxed if I have lived the weekend well; with long hours outdoors, with exercise and leisure.

The little black golf pencils that I received over the last few years with each Marcella order live in the pencil holder built into a lamp sitting beside my bed. When I went through a particularly hard time a couple of years ago, I awoke one morning and grabbed for anything I could write on. I grabbed one of the four pencils in the lamp, and started writing furiously. Each word brought tears, and I wrote and wrote. I was sobbing. The next morning I went through the same catharsis. Within just a couple of days my writing went from catharsis to creation, and I felt the sensation of having moved through grief, to arrive on the shores of creative potential. I had begun cultiovating the practice of “Morning Pages”, from Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way. My chic, sleek, little black Marcella pencils had seemed to save my life. The humble pencil, lying in wait, for the artist, the writer, the human being in me, to express upon the paper that which was important for me to express. The pencil as reminder of my favorite subject in school too! Math! The lowly and perfect pencil, as conduit between education and mind, the tool that creates a share between me and you. I’m in love with pencil! Thank you.
