WHO IS MARCELLA?
Formerly "Marcellamoda," we are now "Marcella" - highlighting our commitment to advancing women and girls globally with the philosophy of DESIGN THAT MATTERS™ - the combination of accessible design, ethical production & social impact. We're inspired by the goal of women having a seat at every table and the first woman inspiring us is "Marcella," the nickname of the famous Bulgarian designer who was Creative Director and Co-Founder Siyana Huszar’s grandmother and trained Siyana on everything she now knows about fashion and garment design.

Our particular design aesthetic STILL grows out of the practical reality of living in New York City: big bills and small closets! Fueled by the bold, individual edge that NYC women exude through their personal style, we're inspired by the ethos of buying fewer pieces, but better ones: the hard-working, seasonless wardrobe staples that can take you from day to night in an instant. All of Marcella's clothing and accessories are designed in NYC and handcrafted in Europe using only locally sourced fabrics and trims.
WHY DID YOU CHANGE YOUR NAME?
Together, as a predominantly-female team of entrepreneurs, we seek to revolutionize the ethics of fashion by embracing the idea that each commercial choice made by our company can promote societal change. At Marcella, we are more than minimalist designer fashion within reach. We are a movement seeking to advance women and girls globally through our mission of “Design That Matters™.”

SOCIAL IMPACT (THE SCHOOL DAYS PROJECT)
In partnership with the powerhouse global NGO CAMFED (www.camfed.org), supporting girls' education in sub-Saharan Africa - a region inhabited by half of the world's girls who've never stepped inside a primary school classroom. With your purchase of each Marcella design, you'll support the cost of a girl going to school for three days. Supporting the school fees, the books, the uniforms, the sanitary pads - not just one of these items but, as tailored by need, everything that a girl needs to go to school for three days.
ETHICAL PRODUCTION
Employing a predominantly female team enjoying dramatically higher-than-average wages and benefits for the fashion industry. Everyone involved in the production of Marcella’s garments enjoys a truly living wage, a standard 40-hour work week (and paid overtime), 20 days paid vacation annually, paid sick leave, free health care and social security benefits.

HOW FAST ARE ORDERS PROCESSED?
Order processing times will vary by item type and availability. If there is a preorder item in your order, please note that your entire order will be mailed once all items are available for shipment. Please review our shipping FAQ and shipping policy page for more information on receiving your order.
CAN I UPDATE/CANCEL MY ORDER OR CHANGE MY ADDRESS?
We do our best to accommodate your request to update your order or change your address prior to shipping your order. Please contact us immediately after placing your order if you wish to make any changes. Kindly note we would not be able to issue a refund for any items shipped prior to processing your request.
We’re not able to accept cancellations at this time. Thank you for your understanding!
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU TAKE AND WHAT CURRENCY ARE YOUR PRICES IN?
We accept payments from Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Elo, and JCB via Shopify Payments
Additionally, we accept payments via PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.
We also accept payments via Afterpay — For approved purchases, Afterpay will split your payment into four interest-free installments! Please select Afterpay on our payment page during checkout if you're interested.
We are unable to accept more than one payment method in our checkout process at this time.

Why did I receive a Marcella tote with my order?
We like to treat our customers, all first-time orders will receive a free Marcella tote bag. Enjoy!

Shipping
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Shipping and delivery times vary based on item, availability, ship-to location, and the shipping method you choose at checkout. You can find more information on shipping options and timeframes for the countries covered by our delivery partners on our shipping policy page.
To find the most accurate shipping and processing time for your order, please reference the shipping method you selected at checkout. You can log in to your Marcella account to find the shipping method, including the total processing and shipping time for your order. You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order has shipped.
What is your order processing time?
Our typical order processing time varies based on item, availability, preorder status, and current demand. We aim to ship all orders as quickly as possible, but please keep in mind that orders placed during sales events may take longer to arrive. Please note that processing time does not include the additional time it will take to ship and deliver your package.

Do you offer Expedited Shipping?
Expedited shipping is now available on select designs for a flat rate of $18.90. Expedited orders will be processed and shipped with priority, so your order is on its way to you as fast as possible.
For standard delivery, all apparel orders to the US & Canada will automatically ship via DHL Express or ship domestically via USPS or FedEx, depending on availability. International apparel orders will automatically ship via DHL Express.
All mask orders will ship via USPS with standard delivery. For customers in all other countries, masks will automatically ship via DHL Express.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer free standard shipping on all US orders over $75! For all other orders, shipping costs vary by country, garment type, and quantity. You'll be able to preview the specific costs before you check out by adding the desired items to your shopping cart.
Want it faster? We offer express shipping on select designs for a flat rate of $18.90.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We currently ship to the following countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, New Zealand, Norway, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Turkey, U.A.E., United States.

Will I have to pay customs and duties?
Some countries charge additional customs and duties, and customers are responsible for any such charges. We cannot send packages as gifts to avoid customs and duties charges. Thanks for your understanding!

HOW CAN I PROTECT MY PACKAGE?
Enter Route— the planet and package protection plan in one! With Route, you can easily file a claim and receive a replacement or be fully reimbursed in the unlikely event that your package is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. By purchasing Route at checkout, you also offset any carbon emissions associated with delivery through Route’s carbon offset program for all insured packages, making the shipping for your order 100% carbon neutral!
Where can I find my tracking number?
We will send you your package's tracking number in a confirmation email once your order has shipped. You may also log in to your Marcella account to view your order status page, as well as available tracking updates, and sign up for shipping notifications via text or Facebook Messenger if desired.
If you choose to insure your package, you can also track your package via the additional order confirmation email you receive through Route. You can also track your order through the Route App, or choose to track directly through Route’s site.

Sizing
WHAT SIZE AM I?
Sizing varies between our items, so we recommend using the size chart included in each listing to determine your best fit. We also include additional information within each description section in terms of fabric content, overall fit, and more to help inform your decision. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding sizing, fit, or design details.
WILL YOU BE OFFERING MORE SIZES?
We currently offer sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL. We are not able to offer custom sizing or garment customizations.
COULD YOU HELP ME CHOOSE A SIZE?
Yes, buying online can be tricky and sometimes a bit frustrating in terms of choosing the right size. We're here to help! Please use our contact form, or drop us a line at support@marcellanyc.com with your questions.
Even though we don't accept orders for custom sizing, we’re happy to help provide some general advice—for example, our jersey and ponte garments are quite stretchy, so we usually recommend sizing down when in doubt.
We wish we could have you try our garments in person, but since this is not an option as of now, please send us a note and we'll do our best to guide you in the right direction.
CAN YOU CUSTOMIZE A GARMENT FOR ME?
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are not able to accept customized orders or to provide custom sizing at this time.
Returns & Issues
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY?
Need to exchange or return a garment or footwear from your order? Not a problem! We offer domestic returns for US customers through our website and easy return pickups via DHL Express for international customers. Please see our return policy for more information on which items are eligible/ineligible for return or exchange.
US Returns & Exchanges: Please visit our returns portal to initiate a return or exchange and to purchase a return shipping label to print and mail your items to our US warehouse partner location in Massachusetts.
International Returns & Exchanges: For all countries outside of the US, you will be returning your items to Bulgaria, EU, where our warehouse and atelier are located. We offer a discounted shipping option via DHL for both returns and exchanges, which is usually less expensive and faster than tracked shipping options offered through the postal service. Please visit our returns portal to contact us with the items you'd like to return/exchange, and we'll send return instructions as well as the link to purchase our DHL service if you're interested. Note—DHL does not operate in all areas, in which case they may arrange for a local subcontractor to collect the package.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY REFUND?
You will be reimbursed once the courier scans your return for shipment. For exchanges, we will mail the replacement as quickly as possible and will send you a tracking number.
WHAT IF MY ITEMS ARE DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT?
If you have received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us with a photo of the damage and information about the wrong item you received, as well as your order number, and we’ll take care of you!
Lost Or Stolen Packages?
Though we always strive to provide a superior customer experience, mail couriers on occasion experience lost and/or stolen packages, which is why we highly recommend purchasing our optional insurance through Route at checkout. With Route, you can easily file a claim and receive a replacement or be fully reimbursed in the event that your package is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. We unfortunately cannot be responsible for uninsured packages, and therefore may not be able to reimburse you in the event that your package gets lost or stolen. In this case, we recommend that you contact the courier directly as they are best positioned to remediate the issue, and then please contact us if the situation is not resolved entirely to your satisfaction.

How do I join the Glow Club?

What can I get with my Glow Points?
Glow Points may be applied for discounts towards orders at checkout or you can redeem free gifts in your rewards page. Once you spend equal to or over the required amount, you will level up to the next tier - meaning you will qualify for additional rewards like free shipping, free returns, birthday gifts, and other special surprises as you enter higher tiers. You can refer a friends to earn Glow Points! Your referral link is only valid for new shoppers for their first purchase at Marcellanyc.com. You will earn Glow Points for the first qualifying purchase your friends make using your referral link.

Can I use all my Glow Points on one order? Can I combine rewards?
You can redeem up to 750 Glow Points per order to receive up to $25 off that order. Glow Point redemption and gift cards can be combined in the same order. Glow Point redemption cannot be combined with coupon or discount codes. Simply log in, go to check out, use the slider on the page to redeem your desired Glow Points for that purchase, and apply an applicable coupon/discount/gift card code in the coupon code field.

When do my Glow Points and rewards expire?
Glow Point points expire 6 months after your last purchase date — but don't worry! 30 days before your points are about to expire, we'll notify you via email. You can stop your point expiration by making a purchase on Marcellanyc.com.
If you have not placed any orders after joining the Glow Club, the account expiry period is calculated from the time of account registration.

WHY DIDN'T I EARN GLOW POINTS ON MY PREVIOUS PURCHASES?
Purchases made before joining the Glow Club are not eligible to be applied to your account at a later date. Also, you must be logged into your account at the time of purchase to earn rewards.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY GLOW POINTS IF I RETURN ITEMS?
All applicable Glow Points earned, including bonus points, will be deducted from your account when merchandise is returned. It is possible your account could have a negative balance after merchandise is returned.

WHY HAVE I BEEN MOVED DOWN A TIER?
Your tier level is based on your total amount spent in the last 12 months. If you spend enough to meet the specific tier requirement, we’ll immediately move you up! You will remain in that tier for 12 months. If the required spend amount is not met within that tier in those 12 months, you will be moved down a tier.

Garments labeled “Final Sale” are highly-discounted and are not eligible for any returns, exchanges, or store credit. Please note that all masks and filters are also considered final sale, and are not eligible for any type of return or exchange due to health and safety reasons.
SOMETHING I ORDERED IS NOW ON SALE? WILL YOU MATCH THE NEW PRICE?
Sorry, price adjustments will not be provided for items with a reduced price. We only offer sales for a limited time so, by buying early, you ensure that you can get the style in the color and size you want.

DO YOU HAVE A LOYALTY PROGRAM?
Yes! You can open the rewards menu from any page on our main site—simply click the round rewards icon at the bottom left of your screen. In the rewards menu, you’ll see the option to sign up for the Glow Club or log in to your account to collect and view your rewards. If you haven’t already, you’ll need to create an account on our site to access the rewards feature.
HOW DO I GET MORE POINTS, AND HOW CAN I REDEEM THEM?
There are tons of ways to earn Glow Points (you’ll even get some automatically just for signing up)! You can click on the “Ways to earn” tab on the rewards menu to view the complete list of how to collect points by completing the listed actions. You will also earn 5 Glow Points for every design you purchase on our site through your linked account. When you’re ready to redeem your rewards, click on the “Ways to redeem” tab of the menu to see your options!
DO YOU HAVE A REFERRAL PROGRAM?

WHY ISN’T MY PROMO CODE WORKING?
Don’t panic! Usually if a code isn’t working, it’s because the terms of the promotion have not been met, or because there is already a discount applied to your order (score!).
